As we move closer to re-opening, Rubicon are making a Postage Stamp Appeal.

We are asking for people to collect and donate their used postage stamps that we can use then use to raise vital funds to keep running our services.

If you have any stamps they can be posted to c/o Rubicon 167 Pennine Road Bacup OL13 9PZ or dropped into Acre Mill Baptist Church in Stacksteads once we reopen.  Thank you!

Once again, this year Rubicon are asking for packets of flower seeds that members will grow in their garden.

All donations can be dropped into Acre Mill Baptist Church in Stacksteads, or to 167 Pennine Road, Bacup OL13 9PZ.

Please note, only flower seeds – not vegetable seeds, are being requested this year. Thank you!

All being well, Rossendale Rubicon will be opening again at 9am on Wednesday 23rd June.

Come and have a cup of tea, coffee or a cold drink and a chat. We will make you feel welcome from the time you arrive and you can stay as long as you like.

There will be lots of activities to choose from including Arts & Craft and Armchair Exercise on Wednesdays. There will be Gardening on Wednesdays and Thursdays and the Pool table and other old favourites, the games table and video games will also be available.

Come and join us at Acre Mill Church on Hammond Avenue, Stacksteads and meet new friends.

The Rossendale Rubicon has been accepted by the Charities Commission as a fully registered Charity, number 1177547!

We decided to take this step because we hope it will open up new fundraising opportunities for us and to underline that we exist for the benefit of the local community.

The registration also demonstrates that we aspire to meet the professional standards expected of modern community organisations.
