Who We Are

Rubicon is Rossendale’s award winning Mental Health Social Care Group.  It is a self-funded, not-for-profit organisation that is run by, and for people with mental health problems. We have over 100 attendances per week!  Members are encouraged to join with others who have or are suffering from mental health difficulties and are encouraged to come for as long or short a time as they like.

What Information We Collect

Contact Form

We have a contact form on our website to make it easy for people to get in touch and ask us questions.  This does collect some standard personal data:

  • Your Name
  • Your Email Address

We do not retain the information that you send through this form.  We only collect it so that we can respond to your message.

Users should note that, like standard email, the contact form does not encrypt your message when it is sent to us.  Therefore we advise that you should not include any personal or sensitive details in your message.

Google Analytics

We do not directly collect any personal information via this website but we do use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns.

We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

This information is collected using ‘cookies’.

If you would like to restrict the use of cookies you can control this in your Internet browser. Links to advice on how to do this for the most popular Internet browsers are provided below for convenience and will be available for the Internet browser of your choice either online or via the software help (normally available via key F1).
